Dr. Corey Acosta, like his father (Dr. John Acosta), is also a lifetime Memphian. He grew up going to school at St. Louis School and attended high school at Christian Brothers High School. Dr. Acosta enjoyed playing football, basketball, and soccer during his time at CBHS, and continued his football career as a kicker at the college level. While playing football, he completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Southern Mississippi in Biological Sciences. During his senior season, he was recognized as a 2nd Team Academic All-American and Lou Groza Award semi-finalist.
After college, Dr. Acosta was fortunate enough to kick at the professional level in the NFL for the San Francisco 49ers before eventually returning to Memphis.
Dr. Acosta is proud to serve the Memphis community and takes pride in taking care of the kids in his hometown by giving them smiles for life.
Education and Residency
Dr. Acosta earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Following dental school, Dr. Corey completed his pediatric dental residency training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center where he also earned his Masters Degree in Dental Science (MDS).

Dr. Acosta is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Tennessee Dental Association, and American Dental Association.
Interests
Dr. Acosta is married to his wife Ginny, also a native Memphian. Ginny attended St. Agnes Academy, and at this time they started dating and have been together ever since. They are avid Memphis Grizzlies fans and have an adorable dog named Fynn. They love being here and calling this city home, and they enjoy nothing more than supporting this wonderful community.
