Dr. Jacob Stegeman was raised in West Tennessee in the small town of Dyersburg. He and his fiancé, Emily, are settling into life in the Memphis community, and he his excited to have the opportunity practice his passion at Pediatric Dental Care. He decided from a young age that he wanted to help people live a healthier life and began pursuing a career in the health care field. After shadowing a dentist and Dyersburg and witnessing the joy brought to patients by a new smile, he chose to start on the path of becoming a dentist. He wishes the best for every patient who walks through the door and will do his best to address your needs and wishes for excellent results and the beautiful smile your children deserve.
Education
Dr. Stegeman attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville for undergraduate education where he received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and graduated with honors. He was a Member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and worked in many leadership roles in the organization. He assisted all four years with their philanthropy event benefitting the Fisher House for military families. From there, he moved back to Memphis for dental school at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery. While in dental school, he was a member of the ADA and Xi Psi Phi fraternity. He is an expert in restorative work and has a passion for working with children.

Interests
When Dr. Stegeman isn’t helping his patients, he enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Emily, and their dog, Olive, and cat, Luna. He also enjoys golfing, snowboarding, hunting, and being in nature. He’s a massive football and basketball fan, and you will definitely notice him in our office sporting Tennessee orange daily. He is looking forward to becoming more engrained in the Memphis community and providing service to people of need whenever possible.
